The rooms feature lovely decor with charming vintage touches, creating a cozy environment. The garden offers a nice place to relax, complete with deck chairs to soak up the sun while sipping on drinks.
The spa facilities were closed during my visit, which was a disappointment since I'd planned to use them. Dining options are quite limited in the area, especially since the hotel restaurant wasn't open for dinner. Breakfast felt uninspired, more like mass-produced fare than locally sourced goods, which is surprising for a property of this type. I found some wallpaper peeling in the room and a large crack in the ceiling that could easily be tidied up.

Gorgeous historical building, secluded garden area, luxurious spa facilities under development
The oven fans from the kitchen above my room were unbearable at night!!! the limited dining options in the area left me wanting more variety for dinner, especially for a hotel of this caliber!!!

Incredible garden access directly from our room.
The shower had only empty gel containers and felt unkempt.

Had a lovely stay! The garden area was spacious and perfect for enjoying a drink, and the restaurant's food was exceptional, especially the seven-course menu! Our room was stylish and comfortable, but the rug could use a wash.

I loved my stay, especially enjoying the lovely spa for a relaxing massage and the beautiful gardens which were perfect for unwinding. The hotel had a fantastic steam room to chill in after a long day. The only tiny issue was that the beds felt a bit small for my comfort, but overall, it was an awesome experience. 😊

The room featured a comfortable bed and stylish decor, with a lovely view of the well-maintained garden. The breakfast selection stood out for its variety, featuring fresh berries and homemade options—though occasionally inconsistent in refill service.
Accessing the rooms involved navigating steep outdoor steps, which could be challenging, especially in poor weather. The room I stayed in had substantial noise transfer from adjacent spaces, making it tough to find tranquility. The advertised spa services fell short, with limited availability leaving me unable to book a massage despite prior inquiries. Overall maintenance seemed lacking, with cleanliness issues such as cobwebs and stained carpets apparent, detracting from the overall ambiance.

Had an amazing getaway with friends, enjoying the lovely lawn for croquet and giant chess. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff made us feel at home. We explored local gems and appreciated the comfortable stay.
Our room lacked soap, which was a bit annoying after a long day out.
